Join JAMS neutral Hon. Sheila Sonenshine (Ret.) and forensic accounting expert James T. Schaefer, CPA/CFF for their presentation on using financial experts in family law mediations and trials on Thursday, September 12, in the JAMS Inland Empire Resolution Center. The complimentary program, which offers attorneys one hour of CLE credit and one hour of CPE credit for financial professionals, will run from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m., with dinner being served starting at 5:30 p.m.
The multimedia presentation will provide family law attorneys and forensic accountants a road map on how to work together effectively to maximize client results. Starting from the preparation stage all the way through presenting financial information in mediations and trials, the co-presenters will share their insights from real-world experience on best practices and pitfalls to avoid. Specific attention will be devoted to writing more effective expert reports and how clarity and organization can significantly strengthen a case.
