JAMS Leads ADR Industry with Inaugural Arbitration Week

Events
Irvine, Calif. – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, announced the launch of its first Arbitration Week, which will highlight ways to optimize the commercial arbitration process, with complimentary CLEs and events throughout the United States.

The focus of the week, beginning June 13, is discussion of innovative programs and services that can help attorneys control costs and make the arbitration process more efficient. Complimentary CLE program topics include controlling costs, advocating for more effective procedures, limiting e-discovery and drafting clauses that will benefit all parties involved.

“At a time when many have questioned whether arbitration is still living up to the promise of a faster and less expensive alternative to litigation, JAMS is providing innovative ways to help attorneys navigate the process better to benefit their clients,” said Chris Poole, JAMS president and CEO.

Within the last 12 months, JAMS has introduced Expedited Arbitration Procedures, International Discovery Protocols and other mechanisms for making the process more efficient and cost-effective.
