JAMS Panelist Hon. Allan van Gestel (Ret.) Honored by American College of Trial Lawyers

Boston – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Hon. Allan van Gestel (Ret.) will receive the 2015 Samuel E. Gates Litigation Award. The honor is awarded to a lawyer or judge who has made a significant and lasting contribution to the improvement of the litigation process.

He will be presented with this award during the American College of Trial Lawyers annual meeting on October 2, 2015.

Justice van Gestel retired from the bench and joined JAMS in 2008. He has more than 50 years of experience handling complex civil litigation matters and is an expert at resolving business and commercial disputes. He served on the bench for more than 10 years and also served as the presiding Justice of the innovative Business Litigation Session of the Massachusetts Superior Court for seven years.
