Elfving (Ret.) has been honored by Santa Clara Country Trial Lawyers Association with its Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognizes judges for their extended commitment to fairness and their dedication to public service. Judge Elfving will receive this honor at the 42nd Annual Judges’ Night on May 30.

We congratulate Judge Elfving for receiving this honor by the SCCTLA. Judge Elfving has an excellent reputation in the legal community and is deserving of such an accolade.

Judge Elfving received the award in recognition of the 20 years he served on the Santa Clara County Superior Court. Before joining JAMS, he served for 17 years in the civil division presiding over an array of issues from serious personal injury to fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty to trade secrets. Additionally, he presided over a department in the family division for three years.
