Speakers:

Hon. Richard Levie (Ret.), a Neutral with JAMS, has developed expertise in e-discovery in his role as a mediator, arbitrator and special master. These roles often involve case management issues and questions of privilege.  In an adjudicative role, Judge Levie works with parties to develop procedures that will be efficient and cost-effective and, if possible, reduce or eliminate the need to seek judicial intervention. He has written on the role of neutrals in e-discovery and spoken on panels at a number of conferences.

Jason R. Baron, Of Counsel, Information Governance and eDiscovery Group, Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, joined Drinker Biddle in October 2013, after a long career in public service including serving as the first Director of Litigation at the National Archives and Records Administration, and as a trial attorney and senior counsel in the Civil Division of the US DOJ.  He was a founding coordinator of the TREC Legal Track, an international research project evaluating search and retrieval methods used in e-discovery, and also founded the international “DESI Workshop” series.   He frequently writes and speaks in the U.S. and internationally on subjects involving preservation of and access to electronic records.

Jonathan Redgrave, Partner at Redgrave LLP, has extensive experience in all areas of complex litigation in both state and federal courts and focuses his practice in the areas of information law, which include electronic discovery, records and information management, and data protection and privacy issues. He has authored, co-authored, and edited numerous publications, including serving as Editor-in-Chief of “The Sedona Principles®,” and speaks around the world on topics including cross-border discovery, information governance, privacy, data security, and emerging technologies.
